Have you seen the thief
Standing at the gate?
His eyes are pale,
He’s prepared to wait.
A moment in time
Could seal your fate
For all eternity.
Well, his face is fair and he looks so fine,
Perhaps he could be a friend of mine.
There’s mystery in his eyes and mischief in his grin,
I think I might like him.
The shadows lengthen,
The night sky falls.
He climbs within
The garden walls.
He spots his prey
And softly calls,
“Come taste eternity.”
Well, his face is fair and he looks so fine,
Perhaps he could be a friend of mine.
There’s mystery in his eyes and mischief in his grin,
I think I might like him.
O straggling sheep,
Listen to my voice.
He is the thief
His every ploy
Is to steal, kill, destroy.
Well, his face is fair and he looks so fine,
Have you eyes to see or are you blind?
There’s mystery in his eyes and mischief in his grin,
He’s a wolf in sheepskin.
